Whew!! We made it through 2012 and we are still here. I guess the Mayan calender was wrong. That means we still have time left to prepare before our elected officials destroy what is left of our great country. I know for sure that my prepping is going to be kicked into supersonic speed from here on out.
Just to prepare you for what's coming on The Retreat in this next year. The design and look will change a little and I have committed myself to making sure that we have a lot more content on a daily basis. This was one of my New Year's resolutions. I am also asking that you the reader comment and let me know what you think. This blog was created with the idea of trying to help bring the prepping community together and give it more of a voice. I learn a lot more for all of you than you probably get from me. I appreciate the communication that we get.

I think that the Mayan prophecies would have been easier then what we have to look forward to this year.
