Actually this post should be " State of Confusion" "Who's fault is it anyway"! Our wonderful Federal Government has once again spent all their time bickering and playing the blame game and come up to the 11th hour and continues to screw the pooch once again. If they can't come to an agreement this time then we will have many federal employees and teachers that will get their pink slips. The Transportation and Safety administration will have to let go a large amount of their agents and this will drastically slow down the airline industries. As if the TSA could slow things down any more than they already do!!
The Obama administration is not budging on the taxes for the rich and the Republicans are not going to budge on the spending cuts. This Sequester will drastically hurt the military and many state's that depend on Federal aid. These morons will not give up an inch on their party lines and the citizens of the United States be damned.
They want gun control and all this other stuff but they can't even send in a balanced budget. Sometimes it seems as though I am watching some hilariously stupid cartoon. You know, where the cat chases the mouse and then the mouse turns on the cat and conks it on the head with a huge wooden mallet. That sort of stuff is what we have for a government?? This is not the government that I put myself in harms way so many times for.
One thing I can see is that if the Feds decide to try and take our guns away it will be the beginning of the second Civil war in the United States. Most of us will never give up our guns or our right to have them. Another thing I can see happening very soon is a total deterioration of our monetary system. We owe so much money to so many different countries that most of them will no longer loan money to us. We have also shown them time after time that we cant even agree on who's fault the problem is. This sounds like something we could expect from a no name African country or something.
This brings up something else. If you know of someone that has not started prepping it is time to turn up the heat and get them moving. Time has become short for getting to where we need to be and they need to know it. I don't see a chance in the near future where ammo and guns are going to be back in plentiful supply or very easy to get if you find one. May God save our country and bless us with peace.

Thank you BVD... A calm thoughtful way to put it all. Your last line in the post is very provoking.... and contradicting? I'm hopeful that we can attain the first and avoid the second. Its not in the nature of we humans though.....
I am a little confused on these sequester cuts. My understanding is the cuts are to the anticipated increases in spending. I do not understand why all of these programs are all of the sudden going to be cut when the Federal government will actually still be spending more than last year.
My friend, very well put. The sequester is a smoke-screen....always was meant to be. Cuts or not cuts, taxes or no taxes, gun control or not the real goal in all this is control. I've been preparing as best I can and trying to wake up as many people as possible.....now is the time to start rowing for shore because I don't think there's much more time, if any, to get anyone else in the boat.
